A Ghost at Wybung Head.

A friend invited me to go bush-walking, at Frazer Beach, one pleasant day, just recently. This become an adventure that I was not expecting but, on reflection, the warning signs were evident enough for me to anticipate that there would be more to do than just go for a casual bush-walk. The first warning sign was that I was delayed, somewhat, in finding the carpark where we were to meet up. Then I found what I suspected was her vehicle (we had travelled from different directions) but could see no sign of my friend. The next problem was I could get no telephone signal so couldn’t call her. I knew there was another carpark some distance away so I set off there hoping I would find her there but with no luck. On the way back to the original carpark she rang me and got through because I happened to be in a high area where signal was available. We established where to meet and I eventually arrived very, very late. Being late always puts me on edge and is a tactic used by spirit, I bel...

Sleep Paralysis and the White Armed Girl.

Sleep paralysis is a well documented phenomenon, in psychology and psychiatry circles, with, as yet (as far as I am aware), uncertain causes.   There can, as with most things relating to our minds, be many reasons and it is certainly feasible that some are yet to be discovered and categorised.  One of these that, I believe, is a cause but is not generally accepted currently, lies in the sphere of spiritual (as in, ghost’s) interference. I am as certain as any rational person can be, that one of the reasons for sleep paralysis is caused by ghosts trying to take over another living human being’s physical body.  I believe this because, for a number of years, I experienced this phenonium and intrusion into my own sleep-time.  While I never could become comfortable with the experience, I, at least, had some grasp of what was happening and definitely learned what to do about it and the entities responsible.  I can only have empathy with other people, who are ...

The First Experience and The First Rescue.

I think I was thirty-seven when I saw a ghost for the first time.   I tell people I was normal before that :-) It’s possible that I have seen them before that but I have no previous recollection of it happening.   Anyway, this first one was vivid, unusual and, I feel, was meant to be very memorable. Everyone was already asleep the night I had the experience.   It was in the early part of a mid-week night and, I know, I had been sound asleep.   I had busy days usually, so had no problem falling, very quickly, to sleep at night.   I rarely awoke until morning either, so it was unusual that I awoke on this particular night and I cannot remember being disturbed by any sound or event. When I did awake, from whatever position I was sleeping in, my eyes eventually adjusted to the gloom, enough to see around me and, as I scanned the bedroom, I realised there was someone sitting on the foot of the bed on my side.   I took this in, in wonderment, and as my ...

Flying High and the Ghost With No Patience.

It’s a long flight from Ireland to Australia and vice-versa, one leg is over thirteen hours and most people, including myself, try to get some sleep, even if only briefly, during the flight.   I make a practice of doing some stretching and, also, attempt to meditate for a while too. During one flight, while I was hoping to meditate or sleep, and most other people were settling down, too, or already asleep, I happened to open my eyes and, as I glanced across to the right-hand aisle, I saw a stewardess stooped over, appearing to be attending to someone’s needs, about six seats forward of the row where I was seated.   I was on the left aisle.   I watched for a moment and, as I did, I watched her gradually fade away. It was similar to the effect of slowly turning down the contrast control on a television set. She didn’t change position nor turn around, she just gradually disappeared.   The passenger she was supposedly attending to was asleep and none the wiser and ...

The Hedge Witch

I’m writing this story because I liked the older lady who, first living, then in spirit, continued to inhabit a small connecting room, which was probably a garret in an earlier construction of Sharon House (mentioned in a previous story, “Four Failures”).   I liked the woman because she was fearless and irreverent but was, also, comfortable enough to listen to what I was proposing to her on this evening. In the current layout of the house (if I remember correctly) this room is now a go-between, with bedrooms on one side and further rooms and a stairwell on the other side.   The residents of the house, it was revealed, never felt at ease in this space, choosing to skip through the room as quickly as possible, when it was necessary to be in that part of the house. As before in Sharon House, the ladies from our psychic development circle were present as we proceeded with this ‘clearing’ and, so, I was afforded the benefit of feedback, via their mediumship skills, from th...

Four Failures.

I have been doing ‘rescues’ and ‘clearings’ for almost twenty-five years, sometimes daily and, sometimes, a number per day.   As time has gone by, I become more proficient and more knowledgeable in my ability to help Earth-bound souls to cross-over and reunite with their families in heaven (the light).   The guides and helpers who embarked on this journey with me have increased in number, power and ability too, to the extent that I know I am able to help souls from different cultures, help souls trapped (on Earth) by old or ancient hexes and curses, and help souls who have been trapped by their own vows and beliefs.   The spirit guides, who help me, have become so able that, sometimes, they have the job done before I ever get around to it.   I used to wonder would I, and others who do ‘rescues’, become redundant eventually.   This is not going to be the case though, because of two necessary ingredients that the living provides for the task.   These are; t...

The Cooneen Ghost.

The Cooneen ghost is a well know story in Northern Ireland and it happened close to where I was raised.  Like every good ghost story, this one has been added to and embellished over the years.   This is my version, stripped back to align with what I can logically accept as reasonable, based on my own experience's with ghosts. The Cooneen ghost was a typical poltergeist (noisy ghost), given that it could make tapping noises, move objects and create indentations on the bedclothes where it lay on the bed and this one did all of that and more, for the period of time that it was active. Two years before the haunting activity, a man with the same surname as the victimised family, was killed in an accident on an adjacent property.   He had brought corn to a local mill to be ground into flour and was preparing for the journey back home, with the freshly ground flour, in his donkey and cart.   This was around the time of WW1 and horses and donkeys were still the mos...

The Twins.

When I began doing ‘rescues’ and ‘clearings’, I relied on people who were capable mediums to both verify and confirm what the ghost's needed or hoped for before they crossed over.   I was able enough to help the ghost's, but not experienced or sensitive enough to know or intuit what they wanted.   This want, for example, may have been surety that they weren’t going to be sent to Hell (if they lived a life not believing anything and, so, expected to no longer exist).   The reasons for still being Earth-bound were many and varied, as you can imagine, and I heard many of the reasons over the years I have done ghost and soul 'rescues'. The twin’s story was different in that the lady, who was being haunted, had the ability (like a trance medium) to be both herself and, then, become a communication 'channel' for the ghost.   So, because of this, I was able to talk to and hear both parties and just as well, in this case, as I had long-winded negotiation to allevi...

The Car Accident.

For a short period of time I had a job as an attendant at a fuel service station.  Mostly I did the midnight to morning shift alone and, usually, there were not many customers after about one a.m.  The work entailed restocking shelves, fridges and display areas and serving any customers that arrived at the station.   Not an exciting job but it suited me at the time. One night, at about 2.30am a breakdown truck pulled up at the pumps and the driver refuelled.   When the man came inside to pay for the fuel, I felt an entity arrive at the same time.   The driver exchanged greetings with me and proceeded to tell me he had just been to the scene of an accident where two young men had crashed a car, at high speed, into a massive tree and both were killed at the scene.   We talked, for a while, about the waste of life and the sorrow it would cause for their families, as I felt this man needed to express his feelings about the incident.  With that off hi...

The Sad Dog.

I thought this was a worthy story to tell because our pets are important to so many of us as companions and therefore, bound to be and, are, active in our after-lives as well.   I want the story to illustrate another observation too, that I see and believe applies to ghosts and earth-bounds and their effect on the living.  This second point, I feel, has a profound effect on our happiness and well-being. When my friend and business associate, Sheena, lived for a time in Broadwindsor in County Dorset, UK, it was an area very active with old and ancient psychic activity that kept her quite busy.  It wasn't a restful time in her life, but that's another story. Sheena is an outgoing individual and in quick time made friends and acquaintances with her near neighbours, and, especially, a lady from two doors down the street.   This woman had fairly recently been widowed, was very busy with her career and still had her teenage and younger children at home.   Sh...

A Typical Haunting.

I’m writing about this ‘rescue’ or clearing to show you how typical (and common) a straightforward ghost problem is, how they come to my awareness and, also, to illustrate how little we change when we pass from our physical bodies.   This particular entity was, sorry, is still, a total gentleman.  He is just not in physical form anymore. My daughter phoned me recently and during the conversation told me about an entity that hung around, outside the fence of the property where she lives with her family.   He didn’t come into the yard or into the house but made himself known to my daughter’s partner as he left for work each morning.   Both my daughter and her partner are intuitive enough to be aware of ghosts (actually, most people have this ability but don't know or want to know). My daughter can do ‘rescues’, too, but is busy with her family and knows she can depend on me when there is a problem of this nature.   Her partner (like most men) doesn't want to k...

Sir Galahad.

This story is about a brief and simple ‘rescue’ that came with a sad but endearing background story.   I was visiting a lady I know one day, and we were in conversation about psychic and spiritual matters (happens a lot in my life, lol) and as we were discussing something about past-lives, an entity joined our company, almost on que.   I couldn’t see him but I felt his presence, then I could intuitively sense he was a soldier but one from well back in history.   He was relatively elderly and his regalia and armour were far from new, in fact, the whole of his being was somewhat dishevelled and the worst for wear. Patrice, the lady I was visiting sensed the ‘visitor’ at the same time and became a little bit apprehensive and was very glad I had come to visit.   I described what I was seeing and this rang a bell in Patrice’s mind.   Patrice has some undeveloped psychic abilities and, being interested in the subject, has had reading with medium's, in her past, ...

The Possession.

I have an associate with a natural healing energy, who I used to meet frequently at one point in my life and we became friends.  He has since retired and we move in different circles now.   Through him, though, I helped and become friends with the lady in this story.  Dawn is a mother of two who worked part-time in an off-licence near where my friend lived and where he used to shop occasionally.   As time went on, he got to know the ladies who worked there and, in particular, Dawn who is talkative and friendly by nature. One of the evenings he called in to the off-licence and Dawn was working. He noticed that she looked very off colour, was concerned enough to say so and politely ask her what was wrong.   Business was slow, as it happened, and afforded them the time to talk. Donna opened up and told him how difficult things were becoming for her, that she wished, at times, her life would just end, as things were so bad.  She told him, too, that her do...

The White Bearded Man.

Philipp is a young man I still have regular contact with as I have become a family friend. When Philipp was at school, he was in the same class as my son and they became friends, and through that connection I eventually  got to know him and his family too.  Philipp comes from a family where many individuals have, over the years, displayed psychic abilities. So abilities or no the family generally accept there was more than just this life and existence. Philipp and I sometimes had discussions about my experiences, as he was interested in my work.  It came to pass, some time later, that he needed to call on my abilities because of an ongoing series of  incidents he had with an earthbound soul. When he was in his late teens, Philipp still lived on his parent’s property but in a separate building from the family home.   He could be himself and live life his own way without disturbing his parents unduly.   He had several friends who would stay over regular...
